Demystifying Dissociation for Practitioners

If you are a truama pracittioner of any variety (therapist, coach, social worker, body worker, etc) this workshop will help you deepen your understanding of dissociation related to an individual's trauma history.   During the workshop we will:

• Explore the ways in which everyone dissociates every day
• Deepen understanding of types of dissociation
• Deepen understanding of dissociative trauma disorders such as BPD, OS-DD and DID
• Learn ways to recognize when a client is experiencing dissociation
• Learn ways to help dissociated clients feel more contained and grounded

Participants should be willing and able to arrive on time and attend the entire session with camera on and ready to participate.  There will be one 10minute break built into the structure of the workshop.  The Learning Lab is not equipped to provide CEs - these workshops are designed to provide deeply enriching professional development experiences.
