Service Description

This group is for trauma practitioners of any sort - therapists, coaches, body workers, yoga instructors, social workers, etc. Come experience new Phase I trauma skills for yourself - keep your skills to yourself and use them for your own personal care, or share them with your clients! In this group, we will practice a new skill each session that helps to improve mindfulness, become aware of the internal felt sense of our emotions, learn how to be open and receptive to the experience of our emotions in our bodies, and prepare us for deeper trauma work. Group members serve one another as you share together and work together to find peace from your similar situations. ***This is for trauma practitioners only. The group can be used for personal care, finding relief from vicarious trauma, and/or practicing skills for application with your trauma clients. This is not a didactic group - we will be actively working together with our own inner material! Some Phase I trauma skills we may practice together: EFT "Tapping", Havening Techniques (TM), psychodramatic role reversals and doubling, use of the" Curious Observer", embodying inner, outer and upper strengths, breathwork, body sculpture, use of images to create safety, use of meditation to create safety/soothing, Qigong (gentle Chinese yoga), grounding techniques - and much more! The group meets bi-weekly on a drop in basis and is open to all types of trauma practitioners. We meet US Eastern time on Friday mornings from 1:00 pm - 2:30pm EST. International participants welcome - all sessions are conducted in English. Joining the group on a tablet, laptop or PC with camera on is preferred for group safety and participation of all. The cost is $30 USD/session for a 1 1/2 hour session. Attendance for the full session is necessary for the safety and coherence of the group.

Cancellation Policy

$25 Fee will be charged for individual 1:1 sessions not canceled within 24 hours prior to start of session time.
